Program Structure
Our internship program is a comprehensive 16-week experience designed to maximize learning and professional development.

Interns are expected to commit to a structured schedule that balances project work, learning, and mentorship:
- 32–40 hours per week (flexible arrangements available)
- 4 hours of dedicated mentorship and training sessions
- 2 hours of peer collaboration and code review
- Weekly progress reviews with supervisors
Interns receive comprehensive support throughout the program:
- Dedicated KIGALINOW Mentor: Weekly one-on-one technical guidance
- Project Supervisor: Day-to-day direction and project management
- Peer Support Group: Cohort of fellow interns for collaboration
- Emergency Technical Support: Rapid assistance for critical blockers
- Career Coach: Professional development and interview preparation
Eligibility Requirements
To ensure success, we have established clear eligibility criteria for applicants.
- Completion of KIGALINOW Advanced Web Development track or equivalent
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one framework (React preferred)
- Understanding of backend concepts (Node.js, databases, APIs)
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative development
- Portfolio with at least 3 completed projects
- Strong communication skills in Kinyarwanda (English is a plus)
- Ability to commit to full program duration (16 weeks)
- Professional attitude and workplace readiness
- Problem-solving mindset and self-motivation
- Willingness to receive and implement feedback
